    Looking good!

It would be cool if (in 2.0) the gears sped up when you hit “roll” and rattled the floor to make it look like that’s what put the dice into motion. (Otherwise, imho, it looks like the gears are simply eye candy? That’s not bad, but it’s less interesting.)

  2. Mach Says:

Yeah, in 2.0 I definitely plan to have the gears react more to the game! First, I’m going to have them shake and rattle during explosions. I was also going to have them speed up between player switches or something like that. I’m not sure if I’ll have them speed up during rolls, but they’re definitely going to do more stuff.

Awesome – I didn’t think that you’d just put it in as pure eye candy without adding a little something extra.

Btw, hope you’re recovering well. (Was the first thing that ran through your mind, “My BIKE!!”?

    Looks really great…
IMO, Tosui’s idea that gears should make the grid move to roll the dice is excellent.

Please tell us when the app lands into the app store (it’s not available for me now, in the french app store).

    Hey –

I noticed that you have a “coming soon” Settings button. I got my app rejected by Apple for this and had to remove it. Just thought you might want to know.

  6. Mach Says:

Hey Court, I hope they let me keep it because I specifically wanted feedback from customers about these features before putting them into v2.0. Oh well, perhaps I’ll compile a stripped version just in case.

Mach: It looks like – when entering a player name – the standard iPhone auto-correction is making suggestions. In my opinion you should disable this, since people are going to be entering names and not “proper” words, mainly.

  8. Mach Says:

Ah, good point and that’s an easy change to make. It’ll be in for the next version I submit.
