National Novel Writing Month

… or, NaNoWriMo, for those of you in the know. The idea is simple, try to write a novel in one month — this month. A few friends have done it in years past and it sounded like fun. This year, I’ve decided to give it a try myself. I’m writing a science fiction story called Jumpgate Blues that revolves around a jumpgate pilot who struggles under somewhat, shall we say, stressful working conditions.

If you’re interested, feel free to follow along as I write it by clicking on the link in the last paragraph. You can also get to it on my website by clicking on the link in the “Pages” section on the right. I’ll be updating the story all month long and hopefully by the end of November I’ll have a full, although very rough, novel.

Now, back to writing!

    Thanks, Josh, I haven’t read The Sirens of Titan, but it sounds interesting from the wikipedia entry.

    Also … I’m not entirely sure what happens next. Ah, the joys of trying to write a novel in a month…
